The Ogun State Government has released a comprehensive first abd second term 2022/2023 Academic calendar for private and public primary and secondary schools.
Platforms Africa reports that the state’s ministry of education, science and technology in the calendar issued through its Department of Planning, Research and Statistics, fixed Monday, September 19, 2022 as the Resumption day for all students in both public and private schools across the state.
The calendar obtained by this reputable media group – Platforms Africa – also contained dates of external examinations, as well as instructions on school activities for the term.

“West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) April to June, 2023. Every 8th September shall be observed as Literacy Day.
“It is mandatory for all Schools to observe Inter-house and other Sporting Activities in First Term of every Academic Session. It is mandatory for all Schools to adhere strictly to the Calendar Dates above.
“Number of School Days for 2022/2023 Academic Session including Holidays = 195 days.”
